Valerie Williams resides in the Metro-Atlanta area. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management, and has spent much of her career in the Mortgage Banking industry in management. In addition, she completed a course in writing from the Children's Institute of Literature, in which she not only received a certificate of completion, but a recommendation to enroll in the advanced program offered by the Institute. She has edited articles for NCCI-Charlotte, a Sinaitic institution, and later has written articles for this same institution. In addtion, she has written articles for Helium, placing second in one of the Marketplace contests, and is a Marketplace Approved Writer.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing tennis, biking, and spending time with her family.
